Onsite software
training - for Agilent GPC addon for ChemStation
PSS is happy to announce the One-day
training program designed for users of the Agilent ChemStation GPC
Addon.
We will go travel to your facility and provide hands-on instruction
that will get you ready to produce the GPC data using the ChemStation,
in addition to teaching you the basics of GPC content of the Gel Permeation
Chromatography "Basic Training"
The $2499 fee will train a group of up to five users. email
info@pssgpcshop.com to schedule training.

New found treasure: "Modern
Size Exclusion Liquid Chromatography " book, endorsed resource for serious SEC practitioners
Authored by Andre Striegel, Wallace W. Yau, Joseph J. Kirkland,
Donald D. Bly, and published by Wiley, the book "Modern
Size-Exclusion Liquid Chromatography: Practice of Gel Permeation and
Gel Filtration Chromatography", 2nd Edition makes incredible updates to
the SEC technique, incorporating all the advances made to the
practice of SEC since 1979.
We highly recommend this

New Eco-friendly product
line: PSS Micro Columns
PSS is happy to announce the launching
of a new product line, the PSS Micro Columns. The new micro columns are
optimized for semi-micro GPC/SEC and perfectly suited for the EcoSEC
semi-micro GPC-System. These columns were engineered to meet the
highest of expectations based on the stationary phases used for PSS
analytical columns; with the advantage of reducing solvent use by up to
60%. A new set of part numbers was established for the new
product line, as reflected in the product sheet .

PSS-USA successful Size
Exclusion Chromatography "Basic Training" attracts scientists and
competitors alike.
With a track record of six webcast
seminars to date, PSS-USA has successfully transferred knowledge of the
science of Size Separation to practitioners of Size Exclusion
Chromatography from PhD researchers, to sales representatives of GPC
instruments and consumables, receiving positive evaluations from the
students.

Advanced Polyolefin Analysis at the Polymer Standards
Service (PSS) Contract Laboratory
In response to increasing demand for
polyolefin testing services, PSS acquired a new high temperature (HT)
size exclusion separation system with Infrared (IR) detection, a viable
advantageous alternative for polyolefin testing, when compared to
refractive index (RI) detection. Learn other advantages at the testing laboratory
webpage and contact PSS (info@pssgpcshop.com ) for your HT-GPC/SEC
and other outsourcing polymer analysis needs.
PSS
receives a Silver Level Sales Award from Agilent at PITTCON 2009
On March 10, 2009, PSS was honored to accept the Agilent Silver Level
sales award for sales between $1 and 4 Million.
Agilent technologies hosted a reception to met with their Channel
Partners, also known as Value Added Representatives (VAR).
PSS offers the "SECcurity GPC System" based on Agilent
instruments & PSS GPC software.

QA Compliance
Certainty for SEC Testing
SECcurity
GPC System with WinGPC Compliance PacK
Combine the new GPC
System with WinGPC
Unity Compliance Pack to fulfill Quality Assurance requirements
(DQ, IQ, OQ/PV, PQ) and the FDA
21 CFR Part 11: Compliance with Electronic records /
Electronic signatures. SECcurity is powered by Agilent 1200 series
instrument reliability and PSS unrivaled focused GPC development.

Qualitative and quantitative
characterization of membranes can be easily achieved using standard
Size Exclusion Chromatography equipment, widely used to differentiate
molecules by size and molar mass. A chromatographic comparison
procedure offers a straight forward route to identifying membrane
characteristics such as pore size distribution, average pore size and
molecular cut-off faster than with other methods. PSS WinGPC Unity MCDC
Software includes the membrane analysis option as a standard feature,
in addition to powerful functionality.

 Polymer
Standards Service is fully
dedicated to the advancement of
Macromolecular Liquid Chromatography, by means of research,
design and innovation, manufacturing, service, teaching, and
comprehensive solutions in close
cooperation
with reputable instrument manufacturers. PSS applies the highest
standard of expertise and reliability. PSS focuses
on integrating existing
equipment, resources and techniques to synergistically optimize the
output of Liquid Chromatography techniques, used alone
or in connection with other methodologies ( HPLC,
FTIR, NMR, etc.), to unveil the true nature of macromolecules.
